The goal of the AI@幸运飞艇计划-IT event is to inform about IT services available locally, nationally, and internationally to support the AI aspects of research, to gather insights from researchers about their AI@IT needs, and to establish collaborations to address those needs.

Tentative agenda:

• Welcome to high-level overview of IT services for research provided by 幸运飞艇计划-IT (5 min)

• Brief introduction of available services/resources (10 min)
  • Computing resources: GPUs in Norwegian Research and Education Cloud (NREC), Norwegian AI Cloud (NAIC), Norwegian Research Infrastructure Services (Sigma2/NRIS), and EuroHPC
  • Support: NREC, NAIC, Sigma2/NRIS, and EuroHPC
  • Services: Hubrohub (Jupyter notebooks), NAIC-Orchestrator (self-service for virtual machines), project-specific assistance/consulting, and assistance with technical aspects of proposals (e.g., RCN proposals)

• Demonstration on the services/resources potentially useful for running AI models (15 min)

  • Virtual machine (, NAIC-NREC service)
  • A chatbot using a Large Language Model (LLM) with Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG)

• Exploring researchers' use and needs for AI methods, along with their follow-up engagement (30 min)
