I just read Jeff Young's comment for the first time. He is absolutely right. Additionally, our input is still needed. Our wildlife agency still faces a dire future. Pressures from budget cutters are not stopping. If this continues much longer, we will be left with an agency unable to manage our WMA's or monitor fish and wildlife populations. The cuts largely keep the agency from using federal grant money that comes from your firearms taxes. A $1000 budget cut amounts to a $4000 cut in services to hunters. Please stay in touch with your legislators.

Wher were all of the hunters, fishermen & boaters last year when I was writng regarding the sellout of the licensing operations at the state level. Hope you all have your own horror stories to tell about your license purchase or renewal now that you must, in most cases, purchase your Georgia license froma bank in Missouri. and you are paying for it.

Just a heads up ,some of us up in walton co. are working on starting a georgia chapter of North American White tail. So far it looks promising. We hope to be in touch with some specifics soon.
